Fauna is an educational app that helps you discover and learn about a different animal every day. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Your privacy matters to us, and we’ve designed Fauna to collect as little data as possible.

- Custom Cycles: If you create custom photo cycles, the photos and cycle data are stored locally on your device
- App Preferences: Your settings and preferences are stored locally
- Cached Images: Animal images downloaded from Wikipedia are cached on your device for faster loading
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect personal information
- We do not require you to create an account
- We do not track your location
- We do not share your data with third parties
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
How We Use Your Information
The app uses locally stored data to:
- Display your custom photo cycles in the widget
- Remember your preferences
- Cache animal images to reduce data usage and improve performance
- Provide the daily animal widget on your home screen
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that store your information. Your custom cycles and photos never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them using iOS’s built-in sharing features.
